The trip concluded

On Sunday we all went to church together to Linda's ward. Boy was she so glad to have her family around her. The kids sat so nicely together and when it was time for class the older girls went to grandma's class, the younger went to primary to sing songs, and Kelsi went to nursery. We weren't sure how she'd do since we are both workers in nursery in our own ward, but she only had a momentary 'look' on her face when we both said good-bye. She is independant, I tell ya.

Then home to Grandma's for the yummiest teriyaki steak strips, mashed potatoes, biscuits, and corn on the cob. We've had some good meals this week! That night everyone came to our house again for one last sleepover. We went for a walk around our neighborhood, which included 2 massive pinecone fights-Ricky can fight it out until the end...and then some. All of the kids are so good with Brody and Kelsi, especially the girls-taking care of Kelsi. They were so cute together. Tiffany gave Kelsi many piggyback rides on walks-Thanks Tiff!

Grandma came over early Monday morning to pick up the kids and take them back to her house to get ready for the day. We went up to Steilacoom to catch the ferry over to Anderson Island. My kids had never been on a ferry ride before so it was pretty thrilling for all involved to drive our car onto the boat and then go up top to survey the view. I got a great photo of Mt. Rainier. All the other pics I took were on my old camera-so sorry none to post of us on the boat! Once we got on Anderson Island we ate lunch then found a small section of beach to play in until the return ferry. All in all, it was a fun day and great memory.

The kids fly home today and parting yesterday was hard for all. We've always loved them from afar, but to have them be close and really get to know them and spend time with them, really made this a bitter-sweet good-bye. We hope we will get to see them again before another 4 years has gone by! We love you Tons.
