1 egg yolk

1 1/2c flour

1/2 tsp salt

For filling beat sweetened milk and 2 T butter over medium heat in a saucepan until bubbly. Stir constantly and lower temp if needed. cook and whisk for :5 min more. (Mixture becomes thick and smooth). Stir in vanilla. Spread over baked layer. Bake 12-15 min until top layer is golden.

Sprinkle baked layer evenly with chocolate chips. Bake 1-2 min longer. Remove from oven, transfer to rack, immediately spread chocolate evenly over baked layer. Sprinkle with Heath bits. Cool. Cover and chill until chocolate is set. Cut into 2x2" squares and then into triangles. Store covered in fridge until ready to serve, eat, or give away.
