Snow day

Today we woke up to a yard full of snow. The kids were so excited so of course, I had to search through all the winter stuff I'd already put away to find snowsuits, boots, and heavy winter coats. Who would have thought April 19th would have brought 3 inches of snow? Last Saturday it was 81 here and we spent all day in shorts, BBQuing, and working in the yard. What a switch from last week to today! Here are a couple pictures of us out in the snow building a snowman and singing "Frosty the Snowman," Kelsi's most requested song. However, the snow only lasted until about 9:30 in the morning. The rest of the day remained very cold and we did get plenty of snow flurries, but never anything that accumulated. Possibly tonight though. We spent the rest of the day running errands and looking for a car (still only down to one, just can't find what we want for the price we want without having to drive all over the state, we'll get it eventually though). The rest of the day we spent just hanging out together at home. We love being with each other!

I was going to put a pic of the snow on my blog as well, but when you get up at 11am you miss the majority of the snow. Though Jeremy did say we had about 5 inches at 8 am but he tends to exagerate, so I'm thinking we had about 3. Great minds think alike!!
