Today we rented the movie Hook for Brody to watch. I love watching stuff like this with him because all I have to do is explain a little bit of the plot and emotion of the movie and it like 'clicks' with him without too much more explanation from me and he understands the story more than a 5 year old probably should. However, it makes it so much more fun for me to watch movies with him.
Brody was very impressed with the movie and kept commenting on how different/better the characters were in the movie compared to the cartoon. He loved the character of Tinkerbell and loved Captain Hook too. My favorite comment he made was, "whoever the guy is who plays Captain Hook is an incredible actor!" Good call son, that guy is an incredible actor. Dustin Hoffman, you have been given props by my 5 year old.

So cool, I'm sure Dustin would be thrilled, that's better than an Oscar any day.
That's awesome! Brody cracks me up. Ashlyn asks questions through the whole movie...she still hasn't figured out these stories aren't real life situations.
My girls love that show, too! Maybe we can all watch it together when we visit!
