The best part of August...the cousins come!

Every summer my sister, Kendra, and her husband, Jeremiah, come out to visit.  They bring their family; Savannah, 10, Kamrin, 8, Jillian, 5, Jaxon, 3, and Kristopher, 1.  It's quite the crowd.  They stay at my parent's house in Elma and it is really just cousins galore for the entire time they are here.  My brother's family lives in Elma (with 4 kids) and my other sister lives in Elma (two boys) and we go every day for the fun.  So it can get quite crazy.  Plus, sometimes we just need to get out of the house and off of the farm, so where can you go with this crowd?  Well, we like to hit a little place called the Grays Harbor County Fair.  Usually Ken and the fam are here the week it is going on.  SO LUCKY!  We loved the fair as kids and always went so to take our kids is a great memory and tradition for us.  The picture above is (L-R) Kelsi, Miley (in the back), Jillian, and Jaxon (up front).  This group pal-ed around together on the rides.

Here is the big kid group. (L-R) Brody, Kamrin, Canon, Savannah.  These guys got crazy and started riding all the big time rides this year.  I swear I was getting nauseous just from watching all of the twirling and whirling that was going on.  After each ride I kept asking Brody, "Are you dizzy/ Are you sick?  How are you doing?"  He just kept answering "AWESOME!"  They loved the craziest rides and had the most fun!
This is what happened when I talked them into going on a ride with the littler kids....doesn't Brody look enthused.
They had a little more fun on this one...

But this spinning thing was their absolute favorite!  Over and over and over again.  Seriously.  It was insane the amount of times in a row they went on this one.

All in all, it was a great trip to spend with the cousins here.  Lots of sleep overs at Gramma and Grampa's house.  A bonfire or two.  Rides on the tractor and the quads in the field.  Forts in the woods.  At the end of it all Brody asks me, "Why can't WE live in Elma?  They have all of the fun there!"
